In a show-closing video promo he called out AEW star Kenny Omega to a match for the AAA Mega Championship, the Mexican promotion’s top prize that “The Cleaner” has held for well over a year.

As of this writing, the AAA Mega Championship match is the only bout that has been announced for the April 22 episode of AEW Rampage. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.

Currently, Vikingo is not the AAA Mega Champion. That championship is currently held by Alberto El Patron. Patron and Vikingo will be facing each other for that title at the end of this month.

Just days removed from Kenny Omega vacating the AAA Mega Championship, another name has been called on to replace him at TripleMania Regia, this time it will be a fellow AEW star.

As announced this afternoon at a press event, Omega will return to the Lucha Libre AAA promotion in Mexico on December 4, to defend his AAA Mega Championship at the TripleMania Regia event.
