Deven Young is the 17-year-old suspect accused of the murder of Union, ME, paddleboarder Sunshine Stewart. Young is from Frankfort, ME, and is 17-years-old, according to WMTW-TV. Stewart was found deceased at Crawford Pond on July 2,

Court documents obtained by WABI show 17-year-old Deven Young of Frankfort has been charged with murder in connection with the death of 48-year-old Sunshine Stewart. The Tenants Harbor woman was found dead on Crawford Pond on July 3rd.

As the court process moves forward, it's unclear whether the Attorney General's Office will request that Deven Young be tried as an adult.
