Offensive woes have held the Jets back for years, dating back to Mark Sanchez’s four-year tenure as New York’s starting quarterback from 2009-12. The Jets have tried first-round picks (the less said about Zach Wilson, the better), veteran journeymen, and even got a relatively strong season from Aaron Rodgers last year.
The new coaching staff of first-year head coach Aaron Glenn continues the fine-tuning of their units, and offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand, a naturally optimistic fellow, is happy with how the Jets offense has been developing after a strong game in the win at Green Bay and one more inconsistent showing in the loss to the Giants.

As Jaxson Dart continues to look great this summer. Jameis Winston becomes more and more expendable for the Giants. While he has major flaws as well, he is a strong locker room leader who has the ability to win games on any given Sunday. He would be a far better backup option than career journeyman Tyrod Taylor.
