Morgan Wallen isn’t be submitting his music for the 2026 Grammy Awards. The country music star’s team confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter. A reason for the decision wasn’t reported. Wallen, a staple in the country music industry for years, only earned his first Grammy nominations last year.
In April, Morgan Wallen appeared as a guest on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, where told Theo that he had tried to get rapper BigXthaPlug on his song “Miami,” from his mega hit I’m The Problem album, but he never heard back from him.
He also seemingly took aim at country singer Gavin Adcock, who recently garnered controversy by criticizing Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter album during a concert and later seemed to note that his streaming numbers greatly benefited from the controversy.
