Two men were arrested in Newport for a Depoe Bay bank robbery on Thursday, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

VERSAILLES, Ky. ( FOX 56) — The person accused of robbing a PNC bank in Versailles on Thursday was taken into custody on Sunday morning.

According to police, someone wearing a mask walked into the American Bank and demanded money. Then, he left in a vehicle and went down Staples Street.

Shane W. Gillette, on parole for robbing a bank through its drive-thru window, has admitted to breaking into the Bay County Law Enforcement Center, causing thousands in damage.

A search is underway for a man accused of robbing a Montgomery bank. The holdup happened just before 4 p.m. Tuesday at Regions Bank on Coliseum Boulevard. Authorities said the suspect entered the bank, threatened the staff and demanded money. He then fled heading toward Pelzer Avenue.
