Three boys were hospitalized after a shooting that left a car with several bullet holes late Wednesday night in north Phoenix.

A shooting involving officers is under investigation near 32nd Street and Bell Road in Phoenix early Thursday morning.

Police say a man and an officer were shot when the man's gun went off on Feb. 23 near to 15th and Atlanta Avenues. The man died at the hospital and the officer survived.
