Cal Fire helicopters will train over Folsom Lake this weekend. Here's what they are training to do.

Crews used the agency's newest aircraft to help battle a 90-acre vegetation fire that threatened homes and prompted evacuations in Sorrento Valley.

The aircraft can drop up to 1,000 gallons of water, transport crews into remote terrain, and eventually conduct nighttime firefighting operations.
