You can view & edit OBJ files using Paint 3D, 3D Builder, Blender, Autodesk Meshmixer, Blender, MeshLab, Clara.io, FreeCAD on Windows 11/10 PC.

But, with a new feature coming to Paint 3D's Free View mode, it looks like Microsoft is pushing further to make editing even easier and more accessible.

In some cases, Windows may not allow you to uninstall Paint 3D or Paint 3D may become your default image program again automatically again after you'd defaulted to another program.
