Minneapolis police say they detained and cited 30 people as anti-ICE protests escalated Friday night outside the Hilton Canopy Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.

A riot broke out Wednesday at a high school in Minneapolis after federal agents showed up and began arresting people on school grounds.

According to court documents, the officer was injured as part of a team trying to apprehend a man in the country illegally earlier this year.

Federal authorities have started taking agitators into custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota, after Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent there on Wednesday. The Trump administration said she used her car to try to run over federal officers during an immigration enforcement operation.
