Protester says she’s 'getting paid right now' during exchange with Fox News host at Minneapolis anti-ICE demonstrations after a deadly shooting involving a federal agent.

Protesters gathered outside a strip of federal buildings in downtown Los Angeles Saturday evening as people took to the streets in cities across the United States to demonstrate against immigration operations in the days after an ICE agent shot and killed a woman in Minnesota.

Gov. Tim Walz has authorized the Minnesota National Guard to stage and be ready to support local law enforcement in the aftermath of the shooting of Renee Nicole Good.

Minneapolis residents say the killing of Renee Nicole Good triggered memories of 2020 in a city long conditioned to organize after violence by authorities.

After Renee Good's death, thousands took to the streets in Western Washington and nationwide to stand against President Donald Trump's crackdown on immigrants.

Some schools are closed on Friday due to ongoing ICE activity in the Twin Cities metro, meanwhile additional anti-ICE protests are happening in Minneapolis after the fatal shooting of Renee Good earlier this week.

Walz said he had no immediate plans to bring in the National Guard after an ICE agent killed a 37-year-old woman.

Reps. Ilhan Omar, Angie Craig and Kelly Morrison said they were kicked out of the ICE Headquarters in Minneapolis after making an oversight visit Saturday. FOX 9's Leon Purvis has more.
