A brush fire that burned more than 20 acres along Sandia Creek Road in De Luz Tuesday has been stopped, Cal Fire says.
A large plume of smoke is visible from the fire, which is burning northwest of Fallbrook and east of Camp Pendleton.
There was no structural damage or injuries and the forward progress of the fire has been stopped, Cal Fire officials said.
CAL FIRE and Riverside County Fire Department units were responding to a roughly 6-acre brush fire burning in the 48100 block of Sandia Creek Drive in Temecula. The fire broke out around 11:40 a.m.
