The families of University of Idaho murder victims are raising money in order to attend the murder trial of Bryan Kohberger. Bryan Kohberger is scheduled to face trial for the murders of four University of Idaho students,

Judge John Judge, who turns 69 next month, will end his 40-year legal career in January. He spent 15 months handling the University of Idaho homicide case.

The defense for Bryan Kohberger, the man accused of stabbing four University of Idaho students to death, is trying to get key evidence in the case thrown out, including DNA evidence that allegedly links him to the crime as well as his digital footprint.

Citing constitutional rights and privacy violations, his defense submitted 14 briefs with the court Thursday evening in efforts to have evidence possessed by prosecutors thrown out before trial.

Bryan Kohberger's attorneys filed an array of motions challenging the submission of evidence in the University of Idaho murder trial. The motions will be argued at a hearing in January.
