The semifinals of the new-look U.S. Open mixed doubles championship are set, with the title being decided tomorrow. The teams of Iga Świątek/Casper Ruud and Sara Errani/Andrea Vavassori advanced in the early wave, and they will be joined by Danielle Collins/Christian Harrison and Jessica Pegula/Jack Draper.
U.S. Open tournament director Stacey Allaster told NJ Advance Media that the tournament will “evaluate the reimagined mixed, gather player feedback and then make decisions” for 2026. But McEnroe and his ESPN colleague Mary Joe Fernandez believe it was a huge success that will be replicated in New York and at other majors.
