However, things between the pair have reportedly already “cooled off” due to their busy schedules and Trudeau being uncomfortable with the spotlight.

Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau’s three-stop Montreal date made global headlines, but it looks like the burgeoning romance isn’t moving forward for now. A source told People today that Perry isn’t pursuing a relationship with anyone.

Perry is in the middle of her Lifetimes Tour in support of her latest album 143, along with other songs from throughout her career. She has tour stops in the U.S. through August before embarking to cities such as Buenos Aires, London, Belfast, Berlin, Paris and Tokyo throughout the fall.
