After a more than 15-year absence from the Mac, Autodesk released AutoCAD for Mac last year. Today, Autodesk released AutoCAD LT 2012, the "lite" version of AutoCAD, on the Mac App Store for $899.99.

Autodesk also announced AutoCAD LT 2012 for Mac, available for immediate download at the App Store (US$899.99).

History Autodesk is the creator of AutoCAD, as well as AutoCAD LT software, a cheaper version with fewer capabilities released in 1993.
