Despite his long ties to the Celtics, Smart expects Boston fans to boo him when he faces the team in a Lakers uniform this season. Smart signed with one of the Celtics' biggest rivals by joining the Lakers on a two-year, $11 million deal this offseason.

Marcus Smart, who played the first nine seasons of his career with the Celtics, agreed to a deal with the Lakers on Saturday.

But even taking this into account, the move sits poorly with some Boston fans, simply due to the intense rivalry between the two ball clubs and the razor-thin margin the Celtics now hold over the Lakers in total titles won.
