Aston Villa have not been very active in this summer’s transfer window so far, but now the club have started preparing for a big move. According to a report by Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg,
Aston Villa have held talks to sign Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson, who is on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Italian newspaper states Roma will pay Villa a loan fee of just over €2 million (£1.7m), with the Serie A outfit having the option to sign Bailey permanently next summer for €23 million (£19.8m). Bailey is set to arrive in Rome on Monday to finalise the deal and complete his move to the Giallorossi.
