Telltale Games first ventured into the open-world LEGO format with its 2022 release of "LEGO Skywalker: The Skywalker Saga." Players could explore 20-plus planets mentioned in the "Star Wars" movies, though the exact size of the Gotham map is not yet known.

Legacy of the Dark Knight already looks like the ultimate celebration of Batman, with its reveal trailer containing a ton of references.
