In 2003, 60 Minutes travelled to the grasslands of southern Venezuela to witness the vastness of the country's natural resources. Apart from the abundance of oil and gold, the Latin American country also has a diverse wildlife, including giant anteaters and monster anacondas. But for decades, all these have faced threats from commercial poaching and lack of government control.
