In Sparta, Wisconsin, police have arrested a woman following alleged child abuse at the Southside Early Learning Center. According to an SPD release, the department received a report of possible child abuse on October 14. Authorities say the investigation led to the arrest of an employee, 30-year-old Melanie C. Hinz. On October 24, Hinz was located at the Southside Early Learning Center and taken into custody without incident. She was booked into the Monroe County Jail on a charge of Child Abuse
