Bison Program Expands Herd Across Two Pastures Last week marked another exciting milestone for the bison program as we welcomed a significant addition to our herds. At the Naytahwaush pasture, 29 female bison arrived—a diverse group from two MN State Parks that includes yearlings, mature cows, and two cow/calf pairs. They join our existing herd of ten, which includes two bulls and the four inaugural young adult cows we received in the Fall of 2023, which all four were successful in having a calf
